TRIMP — Training Impulse

Every workout gets a single number that captures how hard you worked. Not just duration. Not just heart rate. TRIMP uses the Banister formula — a sports science standard used by elite coaches — to combine how long you trained with how intensely your body was working.

The harder your heart works relative to your maximum, the more each minute counts. A 20-minute session in the red zone can score higher than an hour of easy work. That's the point — it rewards genuine effort, not just showing up.
